Liquid anti-scalant for the Gozo Polishing Plant
This tender calls for the provision and delivery of liquid anti-scalant required to treat the feedwater of a brackish water Reverse Osmosis plant operated at Ta’ Cenc in Gozo. This plant with a total production capacity of 4,000 m3 per day polishes ground water through three modular systems each with a three-array staging configuration operating at an overall recovery of 80%. The process description, number of elements and design conditions are stated below.
The number of units operating at any one time varies. The period contract is therefore for a period of three (3) years or a supply of 7,000 kg whichever occurs first.
