Period contract for the supply and fitting of tyres on WSC vehicles (cars, vans and light trucks)
This contract covers the supply and change of car, van and light truck tyres to the Water Services Corporation.
It shall be awarded on a period contract basis and shall remain valid for a period of twenty four months from the date of issue of the Letter of Acceptance. Moreover, the Chief Executive shall reserve the right to extend the contract by a further 6-month period, at the most, divided in 3-month intervals, as may be deemed necessary.
Orders for specific tyre sizes shall be placed if and when required during the course of the contract. In this respect, no guarantee shall be given as to the quantity of each tyre size that shall be ordered.
The prices quoted shall be valid for the whole period of the contract and any subsequent extensions, and the Chief Executive shall not entertain claims for changes to the agreed prices.
Specific orders shall be made as and when required by means of a Contract Purchase Order form indicating the tyre size/s, other relevant details and the quantity of each required size. Delivery of tyres should be on the same date of order.
