Re-instatement of openings in roads after works by WSC
The Chief Executive, Water Services Corporation (WSC) intends to appoint a contractor to undertake Work related to the reinstatement of openings in road pavements and footways, as resulting from maintenance, repair and/or extension works to the Corporation’s pipes networks in different localities in Malta.
The Work to be carried out will mainly consist of any one or more of the following:
i. the excavation, loading, carting away and disposal of any temporary surfacing and underlying unsuitable backfill excavated to an appropriate depth, and as a maximum, to the level of the warning tape laid on the buried pipework;
ii. the backfilling and appropriate compaction of the excavation with approved materials and the reinstatement of the surface of the pavement and foot way.
