Empowering Sustainability Through Collaboration

WSC invites you to share your insights!

As part of our efforts to align with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Water Services Corporation has conducted a comprehensive double materiality assessment to guide our sustainability reporting. This process reflects our commitment to transparency and accountability in addressing the most critical sustainability issues that impact our operations and stakeholders.

What is Double Materiality?

The double materiality approach ensures that we consider sustainability topics from two key perspectives:

Financial Materiality:

This perspective addresses the financial risks and opportunities associated with sustainability issues, including how these might influence the financial performance over the short, medium, and long term.

Impact Materiality:

This perspective focuses on the impacts of our operations, products, and services on environmental and social issues, considering our role in contributing to sustainable development and addressing global challenges.

Engaging Stakeholders: A Key Part of the Process

Our stakeholders – including you – play a vital role in shaping our sustainability journey. Your insights are crucial in helping us identify the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics that matter most and ensuring our reporting reflects what’s important to our operations and the communities we impact.

In this regard, we invite you to share your insights through this survey by 12th December 2024.

Your feedback will refine our materiality assessment and help shape our sustainability strategy and reporting framework, ensuring that it reflects the issues most important to you and other stakeholders.

Thank you for your time and valuable contributions to this process. Together, we can ensure that Water Services Corporation continues to drive meaningful impact while addressing the priorities of our stakeholders.

We look forward to hearing from you!
