Mr Karl Cilia has been appointed as Chief ExecutiveOfficer(CEO) of the Water Services Corporation with effect from the 25th July 2022. He will succeed Mr Ivan Falzon. 

Mr Cilia is an informatics, technology and management graduate with experience in the private and public sectors. During his career, he worked for the multinational company IBM. He specialized in the field of Utilities and was instrumental in the implementation of the smart metering system of the Water Services Corporation and Enemalta.

In recent years Mr Cilia served as Executive Director responsible for the operations of Enemalta.

Whilst thanking Mr Ivan Falzon for his sterling work in the past two years, the WSC wishes Mr Karl Cilia every success in his new role.
